1. Who We Are

Torque Bikes ("we") is an online motorcycle marketplace, operated by Torque Bikes Establishment (Commercial Registration No. 7010680903), registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

2. Data We Collect

Account data: name, phone number and/or email, password (stored encrypted), or your Google/Apple account identifier if you sign in that way
Verification: the phone number used to send a one-time verification code (OTP) via SMS
Profile: profile photo (optional)
Listings: motorcycle details, photos, price, and location (city/region) for ads you post
Messages: the content of buyer–seller messages sent through the platform
Billing data: city, region, and postal code (for invoices)
Payment data: card brand and last 4 digits, and transaction amount/status — your full card number is handled directly by our payment processor (HyperPay) and never reaches our servers
Push notifications: your device's push token, to deliver message and activity notifications
Technical data: IP address, device type, and usage logs for security and fraud prevention

3. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account
To display your listings to potential buyers
To send verification codes via SMS or email
To send push notifications about messages and activity
To enable messaging between buyers and sellers
To prevent fraud and unauthorized access
To improve the platform and user experience

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following service providers to operate the platform:

HyperPay — payment processing
OurSMS — SMS delivery for verification codes
Firebase (Google) — push notification delivery
Google Sign-In / Sign in with Apple — if you choose to sign in with a Google or Apple account

Each third-party provider has its own privacy policy, which we recommend reviewing.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data or share it with third parties except:

The service providers listed in Section 4, only to the extent needed to operate the platform
To comply with Saudi law or requests from competent authorities
To protect the rights and safety of Torque Bikes and its users

6. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time via:

In the app: Profile → Account → Delete Account

Without needing to log in or use the app: our account deletion page, or by emailing info@torquebikes.sa

Account data is permanently deleted within 30 days of the request.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all personal data is deleted within 30 days. Anonymized statistics may be retained for service-improvement purposes.

8. Minors' Privacy

Torque Bikes is not directed at users under the age of 18, in line with the legal age for holding a full driving license in Saudi Arabia. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with their information, please contact us immediately.

9. Data Security

We use standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, password hashing, and token-based authentication. We cannot guarantee absolute security for any method of transmission over the internet.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Withdraw your consent at any time

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
